The notification of a major roadworks project at least three months prior to commencement is signalled by entry of a T1 form. This time interval ensures that all relevant personnel are aware of such works and informed decisions make proactively.

A T1 form is generated as follows:

Select a company from the drop down list and enter start date, end date and work description.

The applicant is issued with a unique T1 reference code BG-T1/2006-APR/12.

There are no constraints on the number of roads entered or the distance involved.

Enter road specifics such as the length of roadway, footpath, green area and open space affected and the number of ducts to be installed.

Select the Submit Button to enter the application and allow the apportionment of work conditions to the T1 project.

The processing of a T1 form does not involve the issuing of a license to work permit.
