The annual performance of a contractor, a company and the Council is examined using quality of work indicators. This is accomplished in the following manner:
STEP 1... DEFINING QUALITY OF WORK INDICATORS
Indicators are fully customisable allowing amendment, deletion and addition. Select the NEW RECORD button to add a new indicator.
Weighting Factors reflect the importance associated with an indicator - the higher the value the greater the importance.
A minimum number of observations is required before performance ranking is evaluated. This parameter setting can be viewed as follows:
Indicators are set at the application level through the electronic diary.
STEP 2... SETTING QUALITY OF WORK INDICATORS
Note that the quality of work indicators available for selection are a function of the application type.
A Quality Of Work Report incorporating performance indices for safety and reinstatement is available for each contractor, company, Council Section and T-form applicant.
Each of these groupings are also compared and ranked annually based on performance.
The advantages of being able to mathematically quantify safety and reinstatement indices on an annual basis allows each company to audit their own work practices and also allows safety and reinstatement records to be objectively viewed and compared.
